Music for the Visual – Narayan Parasuram (Karadi Tales)

“Seeing the sound” is as much part of human experience as “hearing the sound”.  This idea has been the basis for storytelling across cultures since time immemorial. Sound and its manifestation that we call music, form the edifice for visual communication.  The impact of the moving image hinges, almost critically, on the sound that carries it.  The idea of “sounding the scene” too has been the basis of storytelling across cultures since time immemorial. Narayan Parasuram will talk about this and much more. In his own words, “Seeing the Sound and Sounding the Scene, isn’t that what story-telling is about?”

Creature Creation on Hercules – Bernhard Kerschbaumer

Lighting and Shading Artist Bernhard Kerschbaumer from Double Negative Visual Effects,  will be presenting a VFX case study of the recently released Hercules.
