YouTube 101 with TASI
The Animation Society of India invited YouTube to conduct a special series of workshops for audio-visual content creators. These workshops called the ‘YouTube 101’ have been specially designed for enthusiastic animators and film-makers who want to create their own original content, publish the content and build a career in doing the same. The objective of the program is to help creators understand the new media/YouTube and how they can start their own media venture on YouTube.
The session covered the following topics:
- Understanding the current media world (Old/New media & YouTube)
- How to monetize and market your content on YouTube
- How to program your content, develop your channel and build audience for your channel on YouTube
- How to start on YouTube + Creating Content for YouTube
The first YouTube 101 session was held in Mumbai on 23rd Feb, 2013, at Google India, Maker Max City, 3rd North Avenue, 1st Floor, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai.

Gaurav Dobhal

Aanchal Bahadur
Aanchal is a Bachelor of Commerce from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University. She started her career at Google with AdWords and moved to YouTube last year. Aanchal is a new media enthusiast and is currently excited about working to develop more content genres for more choice on what to watch on YouTube in India. In her free time, she likes to read and write (anything and everything), listen to music, paint and thankfully, watch YouTube videos
