Sanjiv is a well known animation director and founder of ICE CANDY Studio, Mumbai. He is the creator of various animated TV Series. Apart from being an established director, Sanjiv is passionate about drawing. He loves to explore character designs and illustrations using ink on paper.
In this session we will explore Sanjiv’s artistic journey and his working style.
Vaibhav is an International Emmy nominated animation film maker. In 2003, he founded Vaibhav Studios which has since then created some of India’s favourite animated content in the field of TV commercials, episodic series and channel promos. He is currently Directing and Producing the Studios’ maiden Hindi feature film titled Return of the Jungle – slated for a 2026 summer release.
A Fine Arts graduate, Vaibhav studied animation film making at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. He is an active committee member and the Honorary Secretary of The Animation Society of India (TASI). Vaibhav also teaches animation and is a visiting faculty at various animation and design schools across India. In 2006, the India Today magazine selected him as one of the 40 young achievers of India.
Animation Director, Coach, Educator and India’s first published author in the animation space with his maiden book –The Art of Animation Production Management (Macmillan Publishers (India) Pvt. Ltd., 2012). Tony’s 35+ years experience spans across the Creative Media / Non-profits / Manufacturing / Education and Training domains. As Chief Creative Producer (Projects & Strategy) at Vaibhav Studios, he has a very broad and senior management role in the studio.
Tony is a vocal advocate of holistic learning and an active educator of human skill training programs, visual storytelling and design management. A guest faculty at various animation institutes, colleges, university programs and studios, he is an active volunteer for non-profit organisations and a founder Trustee of The Animation Society of India. He is also an amateur percussionist, part-time poet and a DIY enthusiast; and is currently developing his own feature/shorts.
In this session, they will share a few snippets from their maiden feature film – Return of the Jungle. A 93 min. Hindi family entertainer, the film has songs, dance, drama, action, comedy and adventure. It’s self-funded by Vaibhav Studios and has taken well over 6 years in the making. It is now scheduled for a Summer 2026 release across India. The session will cover the creative and distribution journey, and challenges faced so far.
