Subra started his career as a Creative Director at Burbank Animation Studios (Sydney) and moved on to setting up his own venture (Animata Productions) in Singapore. Chasing a creatively fulfilling engagement he came to India to collaborate with Toonz Media Group, Trivandrum and this relation lasted many years. Subra has now relocated to England and operates as a consultant and creative director on various international projects. He has seen IP up close and personal and brings with him nearly 3 decades of hands-on experience in animation content creation for some of the bigger names in the broadcast and streaming segments.
